Amy grew up in Idaho before moving to Ohio after graduating high school to attend The Ohio State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She later continued her education by earning two Master’s degrees in Psychology, one from Idaho State University with an experimental emphasis and another from Fielding Graduate University with a clinical emphasis.
Her academic background provided a strong foundation in both research and clinical practice, shaping her thoughtful and well-rounded approach to understanding human behavior and supporting individuals through emotional and psychological challenges.
ABOUT ME
BACKGROUND
Amy McCall is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 30 years of experience working in the mental health field. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work in a wide range of settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics, substance abuse treatment programs, juvenile detention centers and probation offices, psychological clinics, and K-12 schools and universities.

These diverse experiences have provided Amy with a deep understanding of the many ways emotional and behavioral challenges can impact individuals and families. She values creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while gaining greater insight into themselves and their experiences.

Amy’s goal is to help clients develop practical skills and new perspectives that allow them to navigate life’s challenges more effectively while building confidence and resilience along the way.
