I am an alumna of Arizona State University with a BA in Sociology and a MA in Counseling from Phoenix Seminary. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, reading, learning about other cultures, and listening to music. I deeply value connecting with others and learning from their unique perspectives.

In my counseling practice, I specialize in working with clients ages 5 and up, providing individual and family therapy using play, art modalities, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I strive to understand each client's background, interests, and strengths, helping them reach their counseling goals in a holistic and personalized manner.

Having personal experience and knowledge of narcissism, boundaries, and creative problem-solving, I am passionate about helping clients overcome stressors and live their best lives. I am also trained in EMDR, which allows me to support clients in processing trauma and emotional struggles effectively.
ABOUT ME

BACKGROUND
Growing up, I always had a deep curiosity about the world and a desire to understand the people in it. In my early college years, I realized that connecting with people and helping them in meaningful ways was more fulfilling to me than pursuing a career in the travel industry. This led me to explore the field of mental health, transitioning from retail customer service to caregiving, and eventually joining an occupational therapy program at the University of Puget Sound.

While living in Washington State near extended family, I discovered my true calling in the mental health field and felt a strong pull to return to Arizona, my hometown. After a year of contemplation, I chose to leave the occupational therapy program and pursue counseling, where I could focus on helping clients overcome mental and emotional struggles. I believe that addressing these foundational issues allows clients to find peace, motivation, and success in both their personal lives and daily activities.

I have been a licensed counselor since 2020, and in that time, I have gained experience helping clients heal from trauma (using EMDR and Mending the Soul), manage anxiety and depression (with ACT, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness), and navigate life challenges such as ADHD, social interactions, and family dynamics. I also use sand tray and play therapy techniques to help clients process their emotions and experiences in a holistic way.

I am honored to support clients wherever they are in their journey and invite anyone seeking hope, healing, or simply support to reach out. Whether you're interested in a consultation or have questions, I look forward to connecting and helping you work toward a brighter future.
