Kendahl found interest in mental health as a career through her passion and care for helping others. Throughout her life she has always known she wanted to make a difference and with this career she can do just that. Kendahl was raised in the Midwest and moved to Arizona to further her education and establish roots for her multiracial family, embracing the opportunities and diversity the state has to offer. Outside of work Kendahl has a husband and son, enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking vacations, and doing anything that involves nature and the outdoors.

BACKGROUND

Kendahl Mayweather works with adults, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional stress. She is passionate about creating a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences and working toward meaningful change.

 

Kendahl’s Master’s degree from Walden University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling combined with her personal experiences have shaped the way she understands the impact culture, identity, and family systems have on our lives. Throughout her clinical experience she has developed a strong interest in helping individuals and couples strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and build healthier relationships.

 

Kendahl incorporates a variety of therapeutic approaches in her work with clients, including Gottman Method relationship strategies, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Brainspotting, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Her goal is to help individuals and couples build stronger connections, develop effective coping strategies, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.

 

She also has familiarity with working with individuals connected to military and first responder communities and understands some of the unique stressors that can impact those relationships and family systems. Lastly, Kendahl has personal experience and knowledge regarding multiracial/multicultural families and relationships which contributes to her understanding and implementation of a unique multicultural sensitivity and appreciation for the diverse experiences that shape who we are.

  • Family & Couples Session (80 minutes): $170
