My interest in psychology originated from my love of true crime documentaries; I became fascinated by the human mind, especially in how people develop their morals and values. Many school projects throughout my adolescence and early undergraduate years would often be centered around such topics. Therefore, I carry a lot of (probably unnecessary) knowledge about serial killers and true crime mysteries, both fictional and nonfictional. On a more personal note, I was born and raised in Arizona, although I have always felt a connection with the ocean. I love traveling anywhere that has a beach; I savor all the moments that I am able to just enjoy the sounds of waves and the feeling of warmth from the sun. In my free time I also enjoy walking my dog, Maxwell, and spending time with my fiance. We enjoy watching movies and our favorite sitcoms.
ABOUT ME

BACKGROUND
I am an Arizona native and alumni of Arizona State University where I received my bachelor’s degree in forensic psychology in 2021. Most recently, I completed my master’s in forensic psychology and mental health counseling in 2024 from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. During this time, I simultaneously completed my internship through Northern Lights Therapy.
I am passionate about creating a safe space, to help both adolescents and adults navigate through trauma, self-esteem, and life challenges. I strive to motivate individuals make positive change in their lives, as I believe everyone has the potential to be the best version of themselves.
With an education in forensic psychology, I have gravitated my commitment and focus towards understanding compulsive sexual behaviors. I am member of the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ATSA) and have attended trainings related to the treatment/identification of harmful sexual behaviors, pornography addiction, and positive sexuality. In a society where sex is seen as a taboo topic, I feel it is incredibly important to acknowledge the many struggles that come with developing a healthy sexual identity. Additionally, I recognize the importance of understanding the intersectionality of trauma and abusive sexual behaviors.
I have attended additional trainings in play therapy and Brainspotting (Phase 1). However, I do not specifically adhere to one therapeutic approach. I pull from many different methods, also including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and attachment theory.
