Renee VanAusdal is a clinical intern at Northern Lights Therapy providing trauma-informed counseling for children, teens, adults, and families. She works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions, including spiritual and existential shifts.

Renee takes an empathy-driven and collaborative approach, helping clients explore patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be influencing their current challenges. She integrates Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in building awareness, reframing unhelpful patterns, and moving toward alignment with their values.

She has a special interest in working with LGBTQ+ youth and adults, as well as families of LGBTQ+ individuals, and has completed training in Affirming CBT to provide inclusive and affirming care.
