My Background:

I got my undergraduate degree in Sociology and Psychology, I loved studying how people work and how the world influences us. I was working at a Juvenile Probation Office while going to school and worked with several Social Workers that had very different roles. Some were probation officers, some were therapists, and one was a director of the entire facility. It piqued my interest into what a Master's of Social Work would mean for me. I started my program shortly after having my baby with a strong desire to help others cope in ways that I found help from my therapist in life and more specifically post-partum. That is how I ended up here at Northern Lights Therapy.
