About Me:
I grew up frequently moving to new states and cities until the age of 11 when I finally established roots in Illinois. While there, I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Illinois State University. Following graduation, I relocated to Arizona and am currently pursuing a Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University. I have been married for 6 years and enjoy board games, taking walks, and spending time with our dog and 3 rambunctious cats.
My Background:
I spent much of my undergraduate years researching child learning and development, as I personally struggled in school and wanted to understand how kids differ in learning. In my past roles, I have worked with autistic children, clients experiencing serious mental illness, and crisis response. From these experiences, I have learned how important advocacy and connection are to help empower healing and growth.
